Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh government has approved 20 civil works for the development of the capital city Amaravati with an estimated cost of Rs. 11,467 crore. These projects, sanctioned by the CRDA, will be funded through loans provided jointly by the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank. The approved works include the construction of residential apartments for gazetted and non-gazetted officers, IAS officers, MLAs, and MLCs, as well as bungalows for judges, ministers, and senior IAS officers. Additionally, funds have been sanctioned for the construction of Secretariat towers, the Assembly building, and essential infrastructure facilities within the capital.
