On Thursday evening, Keerthy stepped out in Mumbai clad in a chic denim dress, enjoying post-Christmas festivities. As she paused for photographers, the paparazzi attempted to gain her attention by calling out, mistakenly referring to her as "Kriti." Unfazed, Keerthy immediately corrected them, asserting, "Kriti nahi, Keerthy." While the names might sound alike, they hold distinctly different meanings in both Hindi and Sanskrit.
The situation took a more uncomfortable turn when some photographers used the term "dosa," a stereotype occasionally aimed at South Indian actors by Bollywood paparazzi. Remaining composed despite her visible irritation, Keerthy responded firmly yet gracefully, saying, "Keerthy dosa nahi, Keerthy Suresh. Aur dosa mujhe pasand hai (I’m not Keerthy dosa but Keerthy Suresh. But I like dosa)."
