BPCL to Establish Major Refinery in Nellore: Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) will invest ₹95,000 crore to build an integrated refinery and petrochemical complex at Ramayapatnam port in Nellore. This project is expected to create around one lakh local jobs.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has accused the U.S. State Department of attempting to destabilize India by collaborating with investigative journalists and opposition leader Rahul Gandhi. The BJP claims that articles from the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP), which is partly funded by the U.S., are intended to undermine Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government.
